Fall Unreserved Multi Estate Auction

Hudson Valley Auctioneers caps off 2017 with it's final sale of the year with a two session multi estate auction of fresh to the market estate and consigned items The sale includes several partial contents from Westchester County, NYC and environs as well as items from a renowned Garrison estate. Session 1 begins at 5:00 PM in house and is liveauctioneers enabled, starting with a collection of Asian items including items from the Struby estate in Pelham Manor followed by a collection of vintage electronic receivers, tuner, speakers, guitars and other musical instruments The sale has a large offering of sterling in both sessions featuring a large Royal Danish Acorn service, several other flatware services and lots of hollowware. Continuing the disposition of the estate of William Huebbe this sale offers an excellent basket collection to be sold in one lot, Shaker and other country furniture,several nice quilts, examples of his folk art and a large cased fully rigged ship model made by R.L. Wheeler 1920. Mid century items are scattered throughout the sale with examples by Dunbar, Eames, Baker, Cathrineholm Lotus and various other makers including a large Danish rosewood bedroom set. 19th century furniture from the Garrison mansion include several large French Provincial fruitwood cabinets, waxed pine cupboards, a large Dutch marquetry glazed door bombe cabinet and a nice collection English mahogany pieces from the Struby estate. Lots of china and pottery such as Fulper and Roseville and china including Wedgewood Appledore, early black basalt as well as Minton, Lenox and others are sold in both sessions.. A tremendous collection of baseball cards will be offered in four large lots and may yield some surprises. Artwork includes another group of Darrly Greene illustrations, a Michael Kelly oil, Frank Russel Green, a large 19th century oil portrait after Gainsbourough and a recently discovered oil still life by Phillipo de Pisis among many others.
